Connecting with Compassion – 1000 Voices Speak for Compassion

May 17, 2015 Off By Lisa

1000 Voices Speak for Compassion is coming again!

I’m a bit behind in revealing my topic for the May link-up, but I’ve been working on so many things the date kind of escaped me.

But here we are, a mere four days away, so now is as good a time as any.

Our theme for this month is Connection – including re-connection and reconciliation. Our admin team has collected a list of topic prompts over on the 1000 Voices for Compassion blog – I’ll give you the link to that post right here. If you don’t already have your topic solidified, hop over and check out some of the ideas and suggestions on the blog.

Each month since 1000 Voices Speak for Compassion has gone live, I have written my posts with a focus on self-compassion. This month I will continue that theme and discuss how to connect with the person you are meant to be. It sounds a bit vague and perhaps trite at first glance, but I have strong feelings about this and I promise the post next week will give you some things to think about. I’ll talk about reconciling the person you believed you were, the person you thought you would be, the person everyone expected you to be with the person you actually are in this moment.

In the  meantime, get working on your own posts.

And if you are not already part of 1000 Voices Speak For Compassion and want to get involved, head over to our Facebook page where you can sign up to receive updates by e-mail.
