Lisa A. Listwa is a self-employed writer with experience in education, publishing, and the martial arts. Believing there was more to life than punching someone else’s time clock and inspired by the words of Henry David Thoreau, she traded her life as a high school educator for a life as a writer and hasn’t looked back. She is mother to one glorious handful of a daughter, wife to the nicest guy on the planet, and reluctant but devoted owner of three Rotten Cats. You can find her adventures and thoughts on living life deliberately here on the blog.

  1. You mean there is life beyond the blog?!?!?!?

Have a great first week of school, and we’ll see you once you get back into the swing of things.

    We miss you!

  2. The first week of school is always tough. New year, new schedule, new everything.

I took some time off of blog reading during the summer, so I’m chipping away at that. I missed a lot!

Who knows how much free time I had before blogging?

    1. My Bloglovin’ page told me I had 118 unread posts. Sheesh. Not sure when I started paying attention to that many blogs but clearly I am way behind. Planning to do my catching up this weekend.

  3. Oh, I feel your pain! I am so far behind on everything…virtual and right here looking me smack dab in the eye! I needed a three day weekend that is for sure.

Conversation is the best part of blogging. I'd love to hear your thoughts...
