We Contain Multitudes – Open Thought Vortex

When you consider the word heritage, what comes to mind? Ancestry research and registries? Family photographs? Cultural traditions?

For me, heritage is about more than where we came from or the people who lived before us. Heritage is about who we were yesterday…who we are right now…and who we are yet to become. It is about the capacity we, as individuals, have to connect with all that shapes us.

Join me over on Open Thought Vortex today to kick off a month of beautiful reflections on our heritage.

We Contain Multitudes – Open Thought Vortex

Lisa A. Listwa is a self-employed writer with experience in education, publishing, and the martial arts. Believing there was more to life than punching someone else’s time clock and inspired by the words of Henry David Thoreau, she traded her life as a high school educator for a life as a writer and hasn’t looked back. She is mother to one glorious handful of a daughter, wife to the nicest guy on the planet, and reluctant but devoted owner of three Rotten Cats. You can find her adventures and thoughts on living life deliberately here on the blog.
